The Foundation's fashion designer,
Kris Yensukchai has created a sensational collection for 2006.
His creativity found inspiration in the Amish way of live which rejects the aspects of modernity separating humans from nature.
In this theme he found a lot in common with some aspects of the
Mae Fah Luang Foundation work and the people it helps.
Materials used in this collection are hand woven fabric, silk and other natural yarns, and for the first time a linen thread is used in the weaving process. Also the colours are natural and nearly sun faded. The look is lightweight and airy. A great collection for modern girls who live nature.
This collection is an invite to experiment nature and to re-think our relations with it.
