Dialogues - Thai & Belgian exhibition

Belgium and Thailand, two countries geographically and culturally distant.

Their common thread? A priori none. The works shown in this exhibition display their difference. Although ... By displaying their differences, these works have just a similar approach: they belong to their own culture, their own history.

Which therefore is usually not explained, these unspoken that are self explanatory, this is precisely what Dialogues seeks to unveil: the symbols, myths and traditional imagery captured by the artists, who appropriate them, reinterpret them and divert them without our (their?) knowledge.
