Born in 1979, she graduated in fashion design at the Parsons School of Design in 2003.
Unlike most designers, by the time she graduated she already had a store and her collections were presented twice already in fashion shows.
Her girly yet unusual style is really of her own and plays on the complex contrasts created between delicate fabrics and their prints. She also pays a lot of attention to small details and inserts subtle yet innovative volumes here and there to perfect the lines of her productions. All together these contrasts lead to a sometimes nostalgic but always contemporary vision which is found specifically in her style. A new definition for modern young women is born⦠again.
She works closely with her two sisters, partners in the brand
Sretsis. The older, Kly, oversees the business and marketing aspects as the younger, Matina, creates accessories. This unusual trio finds recognition from Bangkok to New York, not forgetting Paris and Melbourneā¦
Defining their brand's inspiration, they say: "We love old fashioned stuff because they are honest and direct. However, we have twisted, and looked at them from a totally new angle that enables them to be more interesting than ever."
